About Me
I'm a Registered Professional Planner (RPP, MCIP) with the Canadian Institute of Planners (CIP) and the Planning Institute of British Columbia (PIBC). Over the past two decades, my diverse experience includes working for the public and private sectors in the Metro Vancouver region through a number of different capacities including planning policy, real estate development, consultant, and instructor.

· Hands-on experience delivering projects through the land acquisition, real estate development, design and approval processes; comprehensive understanding of land economics and the feasibility of projects; direct experience preparing planning policy to advance long-term objectives.

· Expertise with industrial and employment issues, having authored a number of leading studies about industrial land supply, demand, utilization, intensification, and stratification, as well as office development and tenancy trends.
Key Work Experience
· Academic Instructor of urban planning and land development courses at various educational and professional programs.
· Senior Regional Planner, directly involved with the development and implementation of the regional growth strategy as well other region-wide planning initiatives, particularly the industrial lands portfolio.
· Development Manager / VP Planning & Development, responsible for managing multi-family and mixed-use development projects through the acquisition, design, and approval processes.
· Development Planner, managing land development projects through the design and approval process, from assessing the development potential of sites and viability of projects, developing conceptual and detailed site design plans, consulting with the public and stakeholders, and working with municipal and agency staff.
· Land Use Consultant, studying industrial and employment land use planning and development matters, including documenting the supply, demand, utilization, intensification, and stratification of industrial lands and office development patterns and trends.
