Directly informed by my education and work experience as a practicing professional planner, I have developed, delivered, and continuously refined content for teaching diverse audiences about urban planning and related matters. This includes preparing and teaching the following academic courses and shorter classes for students and professional audiences.
A live online interactive class to learn the basics of urban planning concepts, terms and issues and how it all contributes to city building. Offered every month or two.

This short interactive class covers: what urban planning is, why we plan, types of plans, defining land uses and calculating densities, how plans are prepared and implemented, explaining planning concepts, principles, terms, and current issues, and much more.
